About the Author

            Tamara Lyon has been writing fiction and poetry since the age of eight. She has always been enamored with the process of creating stories and characters.  At fifteen, she decided that one of her goals was to someday write a novel.  At twenty four, she began her journey. Two years later she completed her first novel, and, in doing so, knew with absolute certainty that it was what she was destined to do.  With confidence, she began her second novel, Falling to Him, and completed the project three and a half years later.  She is currently working on her third novel, Fixing Forever Broken, which she hopes to complete by the spring of 2007.

           Tamara grew up in Sugar Grove, IL.  She graduated from Kaneland High School in 1993, and then graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Northern Illinois University in December of 1996.  She now resides in Edgerton, WI with her husband, Christopher Schmidt, and her six year old son, Andrew.
